QUINCY DEE TWIST was a sorrel stallion; Keen headed, smart, cowy and sweet. Sired by AQHA champion Quincy Dee King - a grandson of King on top and Leo on the bottom. Quincy Dee King was well known in the upper Midwest.

Quincy Dee Twist's dam was Gabby's Twist Gal with an AQHA R.O.M. and points in barrel racing, pole bending, western riding and reining. Her sire was Spear Twist, and her dam was AQHA champion Keen Gal.

Quincy Dee Twist - AQHA R.O.M. was originally trained and shown in cow cutting. He loved to cut cattle and would demonstrate cutting without a bridle on. Beings we didn't have cattle around we showed him in reining. He qualified for the AQHA World Show in 1981 and 1982 and was a top 10 finalist at the 1982 AQHA World Show. Quincy earned over 40 AQHA reining points, showing in his 20's; and at one time either Quincy or his offspring had won at least one reining class at the N.D. State Fair for over 20 years.

Quincy sired Billys Lil Boots who was PHBA Reserve World Open Reining Champion in 1988 and 3rd place in Amateur Reining at the PBA World Show. Quincy sired good looking, cowy, athletic colts and we have some daughters of him to cross on Genuine Diamond Doc; along with some easy riding geldings out of Quincy.
